I'm getting worried.
Bertrand's been having trouble sustaining his shape-shifting powers for longer than two hours. He's also been havingn frequient migranes and has been shivering a lot.
At first I thought he was only coming down with a ghostly version of the flue, sor something like that. But....
I woke up this morning feeling refreshed. Energetic actually. Almost peppy to the point that even Bertrand noted that I was acting more 'lively' than usual.It was only when he tould me that did I realize that something was wrong.
I...had suspisions, but they wern't confrimed untill I checked on the condition of some of the crystals placed around our lair. The energy coming off of them was staggering. I may be new to using these things, but from what I can tell the energy now stored inside those crystals almost equates to the same amount of energy I managed to generate in about a week's worth of sessions. This worries me because I KNOW Bertrand just drained them last night, in an attempt to try to shake off his migranes.
Maybe I'm just getting worried over nothing. Maybe the crystals that I checked WERN'T the ones Bertrand said he drained. I guess I should be thankful, it's still raw and needs to be refined a bit more, but this energy should help Bertrand feel better.
But still...something just doesn't seem right...
