And oh those FOB ones. They are all so awesome and I'm saving too many, really. I'm gonna save 14, love the little border on the bottom, adds something extra, I think and the coloring is very pretty and fits and the placement looks great. I'm also saving 16, the border fits so well with the b/w coloring of the rest of the icon and I love the text and aww, just so pretty. I'm also saving 18 and 19, love the coloring in both and the crops in both are really beautiful. I'm also saving 21 and 22, again great crops and I love how you managed to make something pretty out of those pictures, sometimes it's really hard to do that ;) And last, I'm saving 27, love that icon, just love the collage feel and the roation and oh so beautiful.

I was really happy with the outcome of 3 and 4, so I'm glad people like them :D
and for 21 and 22: I'm really just as glad here, because the pics were really limited to work with because of the size, so I'm really glad that they turned out the way they did ^^
also thanks for the comment on my last post: I'm really in love with the FOB-wallpaper, too. It was one of these things where I was surprised with myself that I was able to make something that I actually like after finishing it ^^

Yeah, I think I've seen those pictures around. It's really sad when they're so low in size/quality, which is why I find it so impressive that you did such a great job with them.
Haha, well it's good that you felt like that after you finished, like you should. I'm thinking of using it sometime soon, because I haven't seen such a pretty FOB wallpaper around!

but, actually I think I have to agree... a lot of the band-stuff is always full with washed-out colors or scratch-textures, it's really a shame :/
and I'm gonna have to agree with no_delusion: you´re all FAMOUS! :D

And that is so tue, a lot of the graphics in bandom have those textures or washed out colors. Or oversaturated coloring and I don't like that either. It's really a shame, but I hope other good icon makers will also find their way to this fandom ;) And I'm really really glad you got into it as well, because your icons are really pretty and really good :D

aw, I'm so glad you agree with me there, because... *cough* *story-teller-voice* When I started getting into Bandom of course I wanted loooots of pretty Icons, but could hardly find really good ones, so I was about to jump off a cliff when I thought to myself "maybe there will be other people like you! looking for nice bandom Icons, but won't find any...? I have to help them!" and so I had the idea of creating a good bandom community... but, at the time I wasn't that sure about. I mentioned it to no_delusion and she was high fire from the start and encouraged me to do it and offered help... so I created good_bandom. However, since we are both quite new, Julia said I should ask you to join us, cause you are basically made of win ^^ - and so here I go and ask if you wanna be a part of this??? as a co-mod, if I didn't make that clear... you know, helping with applications and telling me "you're wrong! idiot! that's how you do that!" ;D
The community is still at the very beginning, and right now I'm busy creating the user-info and what not, but I would send it to the both if you (if you want to be a part of this), so you can clean up my mess ^^
alright, I just wanted to ask you about this - you don't have to do it of course, but the both of us would be really glad if you would :D

And I so felt exactly like you when I got into bandom. Unfortunately I haven't found a whole lot of 'good' iconmakers in this fandom yet, but I'm hoping that'll change.
And thank you so much for asking me. I've actually been thinking about doing a comm like this for a while as well, but never actually went through on it. So you asking me really means a whole lot to me. And I obviously REALLY want to be a part of it. A whole lot :D

So, I'm pretty much done with the Profile, Application-Post and the Interests (although there is some blank space) - I uploaded everything here, so you can both have a look at it and tell me what I did wrong or what I should change...

I downloaded the post and I was gonna go through it, but I need to get ready for work in a bit, so I'll be checking out what you have done tomorrow morning and get back to you then. I can't wait to read through it and all and you already did a lot of work which is awesome.
And no I don't mind at all. (I can't figure out how to do the smaller text. Or well I can, but I'm too lazy to try a couple of times now. lol.) But no, don't mind at all, I'm actually glad that you did and I just added you back as well :D

I really like that you made a form for the application post. That is really handy. At first I was gonna say; Perhaps it's best to add the rules again in that post, but now that I thought about it, I really don't think that's necessary at all. It can just be like it is now with you linking back to rules in the profile.
One thing that I was pondering about and that Julia also mentioned is that perhaps they should also show some bandom related icons when they apply. Because otherwise you'll get people who will apply and never make an icon in this fandom. Just apply for the sake of applying. Saying 5 (or 6) icons and getting to show up till 10 is perfect. But maybe we could ask them to show at least 3 or 4 bandom-related icons?
The userinfo post looks really nice and organized and so pretty. I would suggest taking down the capital letter for icons and perhaps bandom as well? Other than that really great :D
I would like to see one rule added though. That people who have closed icon communities or journals, that they can't apply or won't be accepted. Unless they have the latest post (which they link to) public for at least 2 or 3 weeks. We had people like that at good_cropping who had closed icon journals and they wouldn't have anything public and that is just not fun. Those things piss me off, lol.
Oh and I love rule 4. Yes. Very much. Love the phrase you came up with in 7 :D
And I would suggest changing the time they have to re-apply to like 4 weeks. It's something that Julia mentioned as well and I think that 4 weeks is a more reasonable time for someone to get 'better'.
The interests.
They are pretty great. I think we should totally add decaydance and clandestine (industries???) and fueled by ramen. I'm not sure yet about the names. In the end we could add so many names. Haha.
The bands you picked are pretty good. Maybe we can add Cute Is What We Aim For. They get mentioned a lot in bandom too. Though also bands like The Used and Taking Back Sunday and Brand New and The Sounds are considered bandom. The first two are pretty related to My Chemical Romance. Which is why I'm sorta doubting the explanation you made. Though I think it's a pretty great explanation. Though really the three steps thing makes sense there also. The Used-MCR-FOB. So lol no never mind what I said there. Perfect explanation!!! I think we could add The Used and Taking Back Sunday and Cute Is What We Aim For in the interests though.

I love the work you put in this already and it looks pretty great so far. Seriously :D
