So here is the promised "llllooooonnnnnnnngggggg" entry.
Yesterday i had work, as usual. The day started out alright, we poured the first two loads without issues. Then it came time to pour some sidewalk and a patio. I couldnt seem to do anything right. I kept tripping over stuff, cut my pants on the wire, I just couldnt function. The truck couldnt reach from the driveway so we had to wheel the rest. I dumped to close to the house and got concrete on the siding, a big mess in its self. I overfilled the forms twice. If you dump too slow, the concrete splatters all over the siding and makes a mess too and isnt level. If you dump to fast it goes everywhere and spills over the sides. I couldnt find the happy median. All the while my dad is cussing and swearing. Its tough having my dad as my boss, its really hard to deal with him sometimes. But the rest of the day worked out.
Its amazing how quiet our house is. The 2 yr old went home, so no more crying in the middle of the night to wake me up. Finally i might get some sleep!
I made it to the end of the week, all that is left is fun....
