So I got promoted to full time.
The way he did it was so funny. The grocery manager had just finished giving me the evaluation, and I was fixing to leave the office, and he was like.
Ill kinda quote it out
Swish - " I need to talk to you about something outside of Publix Robert"
Me - " Ok, Whats goin on?"
Swish - " I hear you and Steve are involved with some online gaming after work?"
Me - " Yeah, What about it?"
Swish - " Well the Police called us up yesterday asking some questions about some stolen credit cards being used under the names Steven Hall and Robert Langille to pay for some game subscriptions and online merchandise. Do you know anything about that?"
At that point I was just kinda dumbfounded, I didn't think he'd lie to me, but I didn't understand why the Police would call Publix"
So after I sat there with my mouth gaping for a minute he was like
Swish - " Do you understand how serious this is Robert?"
Me - " Yeah I understand, I just dont know whats going on"
Swish - " Well thats a problem, because all of our full time stock clerks need to know whats going on"
Me - " I understand"
Swish - " Im not sure you really do understand Robert, What is your position here?"
Me - " A stock clerk?"
Swish - " What kind of Stock Clerk?"
Me - " A part time Stock Clerk?"
Swish - " and I called you what kind of stock clerk?"
Me - " Full time?"
Then he and Mr.Brokaw started lauging and I caught on. lol
Apparently he does it to everyone. Steve said when he got it he said a Customer complained about him making some derogatory remarks about her ass or something, and the only way to fix it was to make him Full Time. And they told Matt that they thought he was Stealing from the bakery, So they had to make him a Full time Employee to Press Charges.
