TV <> quality?

I never realized I've already seen so many episodes of Judging Amy's last season when I was in L.A. last october. But obviously it's like that because I kinda have those dejavu experiences when watching the "new" season on television now. Anyway - don't like it. They destroyed the romance between Amy and David faster than they built it up and everything seems to become just tragic with no light on the horizon. Where have all the good creators gone? Have there been any at all? Of course still adore Star Trek: Voyager with so many seasons and so many well written and performed episodes. Is it just that everyone seems to produce more and more tv series - on cost of the quality? I just dunno...
