It took a long time for me to acquire an CD with my favourite song by this band (I wasn't gonna buy "We Are Pilots V1" at an outrageous price when I had V3). I know it might seem biased considering that they played at one of the clubs I've DJed at, but I insist this is not the case. I just love the old 80's sound of "Turn To Real Life."
5. Shiny Toy Guns - Season of Poison
I never made it to the show on Dec. 15th in NOLA that I tried hard to make, but I did get an autographed copy of this album. I know I didn't put Skinny Puppy in the top 5 last year, but there was so much better music that came out in 2007.
4. Ohgr - Devils in My Details
I know this was #1 last year, but it also came out in mid-late December. It is such an amazing digital experience. I loved it so much that I printed out a 24"x24" magnet for my refrigerator door.
3. Mind.in.a.Box - Crossroads
I was kinda caught off guard about the release of this album. I still think of "Silver Screen" when I hear her, and it reminds me of the parties I played and attended at the Silver Screen in Pensacola.
2. Miss Kittin - BatBox
Well, after getting stuck in NOLA for four days and missing a few days of work and having prolly one of the best times in my life since the State Palace parties, it's only fitting that this is my favourite of the year. Plus, the majority of you know how much I love Ladytron.
