Working on the Dayshift

Aug 03, 2006 08:54

I'm currently watching two printers print their little hearts and newsletters out in my aunt's basement. There sure are more then 300 Physician's Assistants in South Dakota, and about 15% of them have no email, so we have to make 370 copies of a 12-page letter outlining a language-simplification change in the law governing their practice. That's just over 4,400 sheet of paper to be printed, stapled, then placed into precise ordered envelopes for bulk mailing by 5 o'clock today.

Sadly, it's either this, installing a furnace, or residing the house as my options of work today. Tomorrow I work at my other aunt's store because the town's going crazy for days. Supersales glore in the downtown area. Why can't South Dakota be a little closer to somewhere where things besides work happen?
