I just finished upgrading the PS3 from an 80GB HDD to a 320GB HDD. Now plenty of room for videos and music, as well as the massive game installs or demos. It was extremely easy, couple quick steps and Walla done. It was very 'user accessible' which is a big plus.
Interesting it Played most of my test videos, including a WMA Eve Video, a Xvid Video I made of FRAPS footage, but it would only play 7 to 10 seconds (exactly the same depending on the file) of any of the anime I checked with. Odd, but it did play a full 700mb movie I copied over.
I'm defiantly starting to love the PS3 for a "Home Entertainment System" much more compatible than the Xbox 360. It does have streaming support from my PC, but its supported formats are horrible without a special Transcoder program which eats up the Computer's Resources. The PS3 supports some form of streaming but I'm not sure how to set it up as of yet!
Anyhow, now I’ll just play games or something unless someone texts/calls/aims to do something.
