Name: Plassica
History: Plassica started out as a trainer from Kanto at the age of 10. She hails from Lavender Town and refused to make the trip over to Pallet Town to pick up her starter, so she had one of her friends who was already a trainer pick it up for her. Her starter in this case was a female Charmander, which she trained with care and confidence against the many wild Pokémon around her hometown. In her first two years of training, she did not have any other Pokémon on hand.
That changed when she turned 12. Her then Charmeleon helped her weaken a wild Gastly that was in the Pokémon Tower. She was able to hurl a Poké Ball at it and capture it. This was her second Pokémon.
Despite the fact she trained well, she was not good against other Gym Leaders and at first had trouble dealing with Ace Trainers as well. This forced her to study and train harder than before, making her parents worry that she was going too far.
But ultimately her efforts prevailed, and she was able to enter the Pokémon League 2 years later to defeat the Elite 4. Although she could have fought the Champion, she declined to and headed back home where her then Charizard and her lived happily. The Charizard eventually found a partner in a Dragonite. They had several kids, but Plassica chose to only keep one of the hatchling Charmanders. The Dragonite was then returned to the trainer that lended it to her. She was also awarded a Magby by the same trainer after trading them one of the Charmanders.
Things however, turned deeply wrong when she turned 17. When flying over the coast of Cinnibar her Charizard came under attack by a wild Gyarados. Although she did her best to stop it, it ended up using Hyper Beam to knock her Charizard into the open sea.
It was never found.
Presumed dead, Plassica was devastated as she returned home; the Charmander she had was just as bothered by the sequence of events. It refused to evolve no matter how much she trained it. This led to her wanting to learn how to communicate with the dead, or even prevent death if possible. So she tried to get to know the Channelers in the tower...but they were not much help unless she fought them, leaving her puzzled.
She wondered then, if the only way to find her answer was teach herself how. But there were lacking sources...
Although she recovered from her loss, she still misses her departed friend...she was tempted to learn the ways of Exorcism. Her first success with it was when her Magmar was possessed by a Ghost; she was able to drive them out in this instance.
But it so far has not led to her answers...only to helping others.
Universe: She is from the Pokémon universe, the land where people try and understand the wonderful Pokémon around them. There are trainers, coordinators, gym leaders, even Elite 4 members. But of course, there's always a Team of people up to no good. In the particular region she's from (Kanto), it's none other than Team Rocket. She has very limited knowledge in Exorcism due to her studies, but cannot perform much with it yet. So far, she's only exorcised one Ghost.
Personality: She's usually calm in her demeanor, a woman of few words. But her past will bother her from time to time, leaving her to bouts of sadness and sometimes great anger. She is willing to help out people in need however, no matter how tough the task may be.
