Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, died yesterday. He was filming a documentary underwater when he was suddenly attacked by a stingray and stabbed through the heart.
Allow me to reiterate. The Crocodile Hunter was stabbed through the heart by a stingray.
While there's probably not such a thing as a "good" death, there are certainly fitting ones. And although I'm sad for his wife and child, I must say that I think this was a fitting end to a life well-lived.
