(no subject)
Am finding it easy to get stuck in destructive circular thinking today. :P I don't want to work on the air conditioner because it's hot out... but it'll be hot both inside and out until the A/C is fixed. I don't want to go anywhere because my feet are sore and I don't fancy walking much... but am stuck walking until I get a car, which means going around to car dealerships. Blergh.
Will visit dealerships Monday evening, since I overslept like a... um... sleepy thing today. Getting out to 39th and Meridian from work only involves one transfer and a quarter-mile walk, so not too bad. Would still like to look at Legends too, but the nearest bus stop is 2.5 miles away. I've walked two miles after missing a bus a couple of times... it's the thought of doing that twice, with only an hour between, that makes my shins twinge in anticipation. *sigh* DOOM.
I can't wait for vacation! It's so warm here that even shorts and a camisole feel like too much clothing. After this, being up high in the Cascades - surrounded by mountain breezes, lots of shade, and convenient rivers in which to wade - sounds heavenly. :D
Edit: Had to share. This has to be the most... interesting... car ad I've ever seen from a dealership.
