Kind of want to knit

Shimmer... cast on for
Haruni Sunday morning with my one skein of Spice and expect to start the edging chart tomorrow, but the pattern calls for 460 yards of fingering, not 440 yards of laceweight... it'll all come down to stitch tension. (Other than that, love the pattern so far. Chart A is easy-peasy. We'll see about Chart B, but it looks pretty logical.)

Frost Flowers and Leaves from
A Gathering of Lace. (Which my library has on the shelf. Schweeet. :D) Checked the projects page on Ravelry, and there are a bunch of them knitted in fine lace or cobweb yarn on size 0-2 needles... they look like something out of a dream! But my gosh, 4,000 yards of laceweight would have to be a labor of love. And what do you do with a 6' square, obscenely delicate piece of lace anyway? Anybody need a wedding veil?
