Projects

So, remember "Young Miss Holmes", that Sherlock Holmes manga that got me "promoted" from proofreader to assistant editor? Apparently it was so well-received that they're asking me to do the actual rewriting for the series! It even made the New York Times manga bestseller list (which I didn't even know was a thing).

I'm very excited about this for several reasons, but primarily because it's more creative work than proofreading. (Don't get me wrong - I enjoy proofreading, but I also enjoy writing and miss it, so being offered a job that's a step closer to writing is really gratifying.)

I'm also starting on a new job that is hopefully the first in a larger project. I can't talk about this one due to an NDA (no, it's not for Lucas this time...), but it's very exciting, and it's work that's a bit outside my comfort zone so it will be challenging. The good kind of challenging, that keeps brain cells from getting calcified.

The month of April will be busy! Busy is good.
