Crafting

I have finally revived my long-neglected Etsy store! Go, look at the pretty! (Including the only sort-of gratuitous wedding picture - hey, it shows off my ribbon embroidery.)If for some reason the link doesn't work, my Etsy name is TattedButterfly.

I plan to add more items shortly, including a pincushion/tree ornament made from wedding scraps, which shouldn't take too long to make. Possibly a tatted ornament or two. I now have spiffy display stands for ornaments, courtesy of my neighbor.

girasole, I have hit a small snag on your necklace in that I am out of the purple thread I need for it and I can only find it at one store in NY. ladymondegreen, thank you for agreeing to fetch it for me.

Meantime, I really need to get working on my neighbor's velvet cushions. They should be simple, as there's no embroidery. The only really tough part was figuring out how the sides went together and I think I've worked that out. Oh, and it does involve working with velvet, which is always loads of fun. But it'll be a chance to use the new antique Singer.

It will be good to be crafting again, after weeks of struggling with the Transcript from Hell.
