I was just outside, it's 11 pm.
Crazy thing is, for being so beautiful and sunny the past week it was pitch black and the stars were shining brightly.
It was the first time I've seen the stars in months, and for most of you that have starry skies all the time...you probably won't understand this...but it was just some kind of strange reminder that this world is such a beautiful and mysterious place. I guess I'm just emotional or something, but it just hit me that this life is marvelous and I should never and probably won't think other wise again.
I was barefoot, standing on the sidewalk and it still felt warm from the summer sun. The air was warm and the stars were shining brighter than I've ever seen.
Anyways...kind of pointless to everyone else, but for me this day and this night have given me a kind of solace, a sort of realization that life CAN be as enjoyable and simple as when I was a kid.
