Little girl child woke up in the middle of the night burning with fever. We spent a day lolling around trying to get her to take medicine, but no. After her fever maintained despite the medicine and she started twitching, we headed off to urgent care.
She has the flu. Or more to the point, she *had* the flu. Seems she inherited her daddy's mutant healing ability.
However, she decided that this sickness was the best time to debut a new word- "Bad". The medicine was bad. The tamiflu was bad. I tried to get her to take it by showing her that Mommy would take it and feel better. About this time, her daddy came by and I said, look baby, daddy takes medicine. He took the syringe of tamiflu ($5.50 per dose with insurance) and gulped it down. All gone baby! see it wasn't that bad.
