every once in awhile, we'll read a case that will trigger a physical reaction from me. sometimes a gag reflex, sometimes hysterical laughter, sometimes a gasp in horror. this case produced all three simultaneously

the cases we read usually read more like a story in the textbooks but when i do research, i have to read through these doozies. ah well.
