first day of classes
Today was my official first day of class. Yesterday was orientation where they told us how great the school is and fed us free food and booze.
So today, the first person to volunteer an answer in the very first class of the day is this Indian dude. This dude basically had the book memorized. It was insane. That didn’t set the tone well for the section. I heard in another section, everyone was volunteering and everyone was getting it wrong and all. THAT’S how it should be. Not Mr. 7-eleven gobbling up all the knowledge! Aye. I know everyone says this but I really feel like everyone there might be smarter than i. I know, I know, you’re like HOW CAN THIS BE? JERRIE REIGNS SUPREME IN KNOWLEDGE! But alas, I must fess, that I felt less than par today. Perhaps it will get better as the semester progresses.
Yesterday, in orientation, I thought I spotted a cute guy across the room. Yet, when I got a closer look later, the rule "good from far but far from good" applied to him.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I must read. and read. and read.
