A Yearly Ritual
so i actually wrote this on December 11th and have been waiting to post this.
of course, my 2008's resolutions & a recap of 2007.
so my NEW o7 resolutions are as follows:
1. [x]Go to a Panic! at the Disco concert. -at street scene 2007 with jessica.
2. []Go to The All-American Rejects concert once and for all. -i honestly attempted to. i bought the tickets but couldn't go b/c of cheer...
3. [x]Find a NEWjob. NO MORE RETAIL. -YES! i succeeded early with Down to Earth. Now, i'm completely happy with the two jobs i have.
4. [x]Hang out with new people/make friends. -most def. ♥s to Daniel, Casey, Dustin, Sam, Martin, Bich, Christy, Alex (Raver), both Jamies, Ashton, Krista, Mikee, George, Alex (work), Anthony, Kaz, & Ry Ry.
5. [x]Take better care of Hubert. -spent so much on him this year.
6. []Be toned by June 1st. -LOL
7. []Fix my teeth and keep my retainers in my mouth. i actually lost my retainers...fuck.
8. []Have $5,000 in my savings account by December 31, 2007. -DOUBLE LOL. COMPLETE OPPOSITE.
9. []Learn to play the guitar. Or at least start. -uhh...i started to...but i'm not going to count it.
10. []Celebrate my 2 year anniversary with Jonny.
11. []Take my family out to dinner at least 3 times.
12. [x]Get a tattoo. I thought of what I want FOR SURE last night. -gots it.
13. []Take better care of my friends. ♥
14. [x]Get through "it" without hating anyone and make sure my siblings are okay too. most importantly.
My 2oo8 Resolutions:
[] Go to Arizona with Sam to visit Ashton.
[] Hang out with Orko. (Told you i'd put it down as a resolution.)
[] Celebrate my one year with Samvel which i'm positively sure i can do.
[] Live up my 21st year without going broke or poisoning my liver with alcohol.
[] Go to more local shows cuz i didn't go to as much in 'o7.
[] Start taking dance classes again.
[] Pay off half of my credit card debt.
[] Get to $200 with our little "Disneyland fund" piggy bank.
[] Get half way through with hair school.
[] IMPORTANT: request new year's eve off cuz this past NY'sE SUCKED!
[] NO MORE PARKING TICKETS!
[] Learn when to say "NO!"
[] Become closer to the friends i made in 07.
[] Live up 4th of July. ;) (This has become Bita's & i's ritual. -Palms Spring this year)
I guess that it for now.
All I have to do is breathe now & realize that there is only one me
& i need to take care of ME first.
2007 has definitely made me stronger although it was the worst year
but i have a pretty good feeling about this year.
finally have a career related job and starting what i love.
i have amazing new friends and a boyfriend.
haha. maybe it's good cuz i'll 21 for once.
