(no subject)
i've been very neglectful of LJ land lately.
Life's been very busy though. but in a good way.
I've picked my "going back to work day"..and that will be monday Feb 19th. I am awaiting word from HR in regards to where I will be working when I go back...I have a feeling i will get stuck doing stupid contact centre agent stuff due to the layoffs and the current drama. If that's the case, and i get even one stupid supervisor or "senior agent" trying to tell me what to do...i will tell them where to stick their job. I am looking forward to working again though..contributing more financially to our home...but it will be hard to be away from my kids for 8+ hours a day. Luckily, my parents will be my childcare.
Speaking of childcare...this morning i got to go over to Luci and Sams place and watch Aislin for a few hours. That little girl is amazing. She is such an old soul. She has just recently started walking so it was a lot of fun watching her and maia run around together. I will be watching her again next tuesday for a longer stretch so I hope it goes just as smoothly as today.
hmmm...what else can i post about? i dunno..i'm just not feelin LJ much.
I want to do something nice for a friend of mine because i unexpectedly disapointed her this past weekend (you know who you are)...so hopefully i can come up with something really unique and fun for her.
In derby news, i was offered a position as Fundraising Co-ordinator and Administration. It's a joint position with Lulu (Gaia) and I'm really stoked about it. I'm in the board of directors now which is great because i get to have some input in the way things will happen in the league. I couldn't be happier with my partnership with Lulu. Liz and Carla did a great job pairing us up together. <3
hmm..what else..nothing really exciting going on...tonight is bowling night..tomorrow is derby practice...
well..i have to run. simon keeps clicking the mouse and it's making this typing thing a little bit frustrating.
