Alright, guys.... listen up... I'm being 100% serious. I'll try to make this speech short and spare you a lot of details. As you guys may or may not know... I am a huge fan of music. I'm sure a lot of you are too, but music is my life. It really is. I love music way more than I love anything else. Music has always been there for me. Since I think I was.... probably around 9 years old... I've been listening to a Finnish rock band called Apulanta. Apulanta has been such an influence in my life. I think they are amazing and talented and just... great. They mean a lot to me. As you also may or may not know... I am a huge fan of seeing bands live. I think live is one of the greatest ways to see a band. It's been a dream to see Apulanta live. Seeing Apulanta live is really like at the top of my list of things I must do before I die. It's really important to me. Finland has this thing with shows... if they're going to serve alcohol... then it's an 18+ show. To the point: Apulanta is coming around... on a saturday! To an all ages venue! Around the time of my birthday! THIS - IS - AMAZING - NEWS! But... I should begin mourning if I don't think I can go anyway... Apulanta has also been around for a really long time and I fear they may be calling it quits soon. So, this is a pathetic and last resort attempt to raise money to pay for my ticket to fly to Finland. This is me asking anyone out there in the world to please donate money for my birthday. I'd even pay you back over time if you don't want me keeping the money. I would not be asking this of anyone unless it was REALLY important! This means a lot to me. Please help send a boy close to turning 16 to fly to Finland for his birthday to fulfil a dream of his. I'm too young for my own job. I'm starving myself at school to save money and I'm cancelling plans and selling tickets to any concert I had plan on seeing before the Apulanta show. Anybody who donates is a generous soul and has no idea how happy they are making me! If you'd like to be a generous soul... IM me or something (I've got MSN messenger and AIM - check user info). I'm on my knees and begging.
