So we finally finished everything in the apartment, and I am super happy about it. We got all of our painting done and got all of our pictures/shelves done! It makes the place so homey, not sure if that is a word, but it does. We are finally starting to feel like we actually live there instead of just stay there 7 nights a week.
Last night, to celebrate the completion of our personal 'trading spaces,' we went out to eat. We are just sort of now starting to get familar with where we actually are and where everything is. Ben had to go to Best Buy on 8 and Haggerty to get some Tiger Woods playstation game and Colleen said that after dinner, she wanted to get Coldstone so I thought of the Claddagh. It is this cute little Irish pub that Kyle had told me about awhile back, but we had never gone there, so we did, and it was pretty good. The food wasn't anything special; don't get me wrong, it was good, just nothing mind-blowing. However, the atmosphere was what made the place. The irish music and decor was awesome. And then of course, we got Coldstone. Yummy!!!
School starts in two weeks. I am actually taking more classes than I had originally thought I was going to, and I am still up in the air about how I feel about that. I will be at school a lot and the jury is still out on whether or not that is going to be a good thing. There are just some classes that I would like to get in for grad school that I did not have time to take in undergrad, so that is a good thing, but hanging around the LC four days a week is the only thing a bit unsettling at this point. I may just stuff myself in a cubicle and do my work there.
Alright, well I guess that is all for now. My hair appointment is today (keep your fingers crossed). Jane's bachelorette party is tomorrow and Dave is coming to visit Saturday. Another weekend of no rest and nothing but busy-ness.
