I have a "charger" now, so the phone is restored! I had forgotten that I owned a car charger, and so I bought an adapter for the wall. (Score #1)
Cruella is now operable, in the sense that she starts. Battery was bad, so Wally World replaced it for free. Was not the alternator, but it could be the fact that my trunk doesn't close all the way and so the constant light in there is draining the battery. (Score #1 2/3)
However, to fix Cruella all the way would cost more than twice what I paid for her.
Fixing her partially would be about $500-600, but then I still have to get her gas tank replaced, which would come out to a little more than half of what I paid for her.
Not sure whether to trash the bitch (which would make me carless until an undetermined time since it's a little hard to go out and look for cars when I'm at college and I'm going to try and use what money I have for summer classes) or keep her and do the partial repairs and eventually the gas tank (the gas tank needs to be replaced if I'm going to have her at MSU over the summer). Need to call the insurance and see what's what. (Anti-Score #1 1/2)
