Radio Star
Work was horribly boring today.
I spent the day in the stock room listening to the edge and cleaning.
Although there was an upside. I got on the radio.
They were giving away 6 tix to the bud bowl (superbowl at the docks)
They were looking for gambling horror stories.
I called......and got through.
I told Josie that last year i put my car on the line for the superbowl.
And sure enough i lost the bet. (btw this is all utter bullshit, obviously)
We had a nice little chat. But she regretted to inform me she already gave the tickets away.
When they came back from commercial she aired the conversation that I had with her just moments earlier.
Now what is that? She puts our convo on the radio but i dont get the tickets....bullshit.
And you know how most people dont like the sound of their own voices when they hear themselves.
I'm the same way. But when i heard myself on the radio, surprsingly my voice didn't sound so horrible.
strange.
That made my day.
