getting clumsy, already stupid

here's a list of injuries i've sustained this month. thursday dec02, i cut my right hand, just above the pinkie, in one of the wicker baskets that we use to store the thick picture books at our branch. i just scratched what's left of the healing area stuff and now it itches. it's basically invisble now though, there won't be a scar. go kris-super-healing-factor.
then i got sick, remember? saturday dec04, feverishly staggering back from dumping the branch's recyclables, i walked in front of the cart, dragging it behind me. stupid, since there are valleys and hills all over the parking lot. it ran up against my left ankle, practically running it over. i let loose with a great big dance and limped about my business for the next hour or so. i finally decided to take a break and hit the bathroom to check out the damage. yeah, a good quarter of the heel of my sock was soaked in red nonsense and there was some skin hanging off in two tiny sections. stupid wheels. i asked susan m. if we had a first-aid kit and she supplied me with a band-aid and neosporin. yummy. that was a fun day, what with the raging viral infection surfing through my body. good times.
