German exam

To whomever is interested in and reads my journal. Sorry for not updating when I got the result for my German exam. I was ecstatic, and couldn't get my arms down in joy.

I got 11. I drew a listening comprehension and a text about the school system in Germany. The listening comprehension and the text were fairly easy, and I remembered the text about the system brilliantly. After I had done that, I could talk a little about what I'm doing next year (gymnasium (high school, A-levels, whatever gets you into university)). I did all of that in German, and the external examiner said that if I had been better at inflecting my verbs, I would've got 13. She was very impressed, and suggested that I pick up German later in life.

I met my school's headmaster in a supermarket on the same day, and he congratulated me for yet another good result. So I'm very, very satisfied with that exam. Almost makes me wish that I had chosen German instead of French in gymnasium... though it would probably have killed me to have it another three years.

Yesterday was a day of change. It started out very well at breakfast where I got a letter from the county administration. I've been accepted into the gymnasium I wanted, and so has one of my friends. I went to the city (town in some's eyes) to meet up with some friends whom I had to plan live role-playing game with. I hadn't seen one of them in ages (nearly half a year, I think, because she moved from the village I live in, around Christmas to a place highly inaccessible), so that was really nice. The one I hadn't seen for half a year, wanted to see the village so she went with me after the meeting. We went for a long walk, and discussed various topics, religion for instance. Later I found out that one of my friends has blocked me on MSN Messenger. I still don't know what I've done to warrant that, so it made me very sad. Paul cheered me up, though.

Let's see what "today" (it's nearly three, and I got out of shower after sleep 45 minutes ago) brings.
