I'll have to experiment more with the different fur types and see what looks (to me) good on this laptop. And no worries for not realising, I think I may not have been too clear in the post about who had what and when. She is cute, Wolf found her in the Pet Adoption bit.
Wolf does have the flirty trait. Hopeless romantic too. I was so amused when I switched to him and watched him starting work on love interest number three (though he didn't succeed.)
You're right about that. I've seen something written on the forum about the wishes being lockable using both the Story Progression and the Master Controller. I went to read the notes on both but couldn't find out how to activate it. Ah well, decided that it doesn't really matter anyway. More wishes will roll around.
However, in Twallan's Story Progression, I did notice this:
TS2 Style Aging When enabled, only the sims in active household will age Default: False Hidden By: EA Aging Option set to off
So, if you wanted to, you could play with Twallan's Story Progression and enable TS2 style aging... though what you're doing sounds like it works for you.
Yeah, I know that's there. I have been avoiding using Story Progression mods because for whatever reason on my part... either not removing them properly or something, I have done bad things to my towns with it. So I've just given up using them. I've had towns just go all to Hell with each expansion upgrade when I use them. I imagine in smarter people's hands, it's smooth sailing... I'm apparently not one of those.
I don't blame you. It's not good if it makes your game worse.
At least the EA Story Progression mode has improved from what it was originally.
To be honest, I haven't changed any of the settings in the Twallan mod's I do have. I'm really only using it for the pop-ups about what is going on in town because I'm too lazy (don't want to waste the time) to get my sim to read the newspapers.
Also, it is very apparent that TS3 works differently on different pcs. Otherwise, why would some people have loads of problems and others very few? Sometimes it makes no sense, the problems and errors that arise.
I modify some of my mods like Woohooer and currently I've put Register in my game to kill off all the Paparazzi but otherwise, I'm content with EA's progression at this point.
But sometimes I equate the problems people have with..pure stupdity. A lot of people put stuff in their game they have NO clue what or how to use it... and just start randomly downloading things that have gobs of other content attached and just out of sheer ignorance blame all CC on their problems.
Heck, I am almost 100% positive the issues I have had over the years when I've had Story Progressions in my game have been from some fault of my own stupidity, too. I'm not sure what it could be but I'm pretty sure it is.
Not necessarily your fault. Sometimes computers get minds of their own and decide to glitch and get their software in a twist. Especially with some CC - I've had to take some out again too. I downloaded a unicorn which seemed to cause a lot of problems. Anyway, sorry, I don't mean to ramble on.
I had a few problems getting restarted and had to reset both Makao and his pup. I figured it was something to do with me switching households as I've not really done that much before.
Well, I didn't mean to ramble on but I did. Sigh. Soz.
Yeah, that was where I seemed to run into families corrupting on me, too. Just my incessant switching families. I have been told that when putting NRAaas in or Awesomemod to override the progressions we actively have to use the 'make active' feature on the mod, versus going into EditTown -> switch to this family.
I MAY put it back in and see if this is the case but I have had whole neighborhoods just corrupt in the past doing this or Sims ceasing to age even when I played them, etc etc... I usually keep liberal backups of the families in my bin JUST in case of these things... which is how I get such nomadic Sims from town to town. I keep crashing worlds and having the families lifeboat out of there!
This is how I've managed to hang onto Nexrad and Taliesen as well as Thomas and Evan (the other version of his family) for so long! Those two are my oldest families.
A little bit, yeah, although it's more like various timeline variations (Sort of like Rose's father in Cyberman world versus the one that died, etc etc)
Yep, which is actually what Taliesen was when I created the Riftborn version of him. He had awareness of every alternate reality of himself like constant whispers/memories/consciousnesses.. which was why he was nuts! Through RPing, we actually cut him from the network and he grew from there. The one I plopped into Strangetown is a variation of that. So is the one currently running my stables in Lucky Palms/Equestria. (Same family, just playing different playstyles one's legacy, one's the Equus stuff which I may just discard since I don't want to hassle with all that work.)

Your favourite families are a little like Timelords themselves, less the regeneration as someone different bit, of course.
