… of a conversation with
PixelCurious and because of inspiration by
Madame-Ugly, I revisited the
Colour Lovers website.
I’ve been a little more restrained this time, there are a gadzillion less pictures and 8 patterns (well, 4 unique) for The Sims 3, in Sims3Pack format, under the cut. (Apologies for the wonky preview above the cut.)
Camel Cactus
This seems to be re-colourable, though, if you lighten it too much, then the camels may appear grey.
Flowers and Butterflies
There are four separate variations - a bright bright one (you can twiddle with the colour wheel on this one) and a more restrained colour scheme that is available in three sizes. The names, as usual, are pretty stupid, sorry.
Flower Flyby
Flower Butt
Flower Butter
Flower B’Fly
Bicycles
Inspiration taken from
Madame-Ugly, so this is probably a bit plagiarised, apologies to the original creator. The first two are just different colour variations on the same pattern. Note, I found it impossible to re-colour the white version whilst in-game. I have no idea why. These are also possibly a bit on the large size to work well as a pattern to use on clothing but, well, it depends on what you like.
The last version was created totally in CAP, using EA clipart. Both the background and the bikes may be re-coloured individually, in other words, there are two colour channels.

Finally
Some examples from within game - sorry they’re not more inspired - and something to show Madame-Ugly that I was thinking of her - hope she doesn’t mind.
Oops, they’re a badly arranged, sorry load of bean bags.
All the patterns have been saved as Sims3Packs, will appear under Misc. and may be found
here on Mediafire. (Lazy linking again, sorry.)
