You were stopped at a red light. I was waiting to cross the street. You looked like someone I used to know, so I smiled and nodded. You just kind of stared. My bad. It's just that you look JUST like my ex-boyfriend, down to the faintest freckle. You were even wearing the EXACT same shirt he's had since Freshman year with the EXACT same mascara stains I left there years ago. And you were driving the EXACT same car his mom owned... we made out in it once amid fields of wheat. What a strange case of mistaken identity! Because my ex-boyfriend, after 2 years, finally is nice to me and acknowledges my existence. Weird.
Guy biking to the Co-op:
I wasn't staring because I thought you were going to hit me. I was staring because you are the most beautiful produce stocker to ever live. We met officially on election night, but I doubt you'd remember. Of course I remember meeting you, because I already knew who you were. You see, when you're as strikingly attractive as you are, word gets spread around...
In other news, I finished my Cure 30th Anniversary scrapbook page and mailed it off. It was hard to part with it, especially to declared it "finished." But the deadline is fast approaching... I'll post pictures a little later.
