I was sick for about a month. I had to go home to do doctors appointments and stuff, and I came back to Bellingham today.
We picnicked at Lake Samish. It was a beautiful day.
Then I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. I beat the shit out of my rug. I spray painted my shower tiles (someone previously sprayed red all over them, but not so that they were completely covered, and the paint is hard to scrub off... ugo ugo. So I'm making them uniformly white again). I'm not done with that project yet... it's taking many coats. I'll need to buy more paint, too. I cleaned my bathroom... my new cleaner almost choked me to death, though, so I don't think I can use that anymore. Cleaned my mirrors. Dusted some. Mopped the floors. Mostly just vacuum, vacuum, vacuumed. You have no idea how much dirt and crap was hidden in my shag rug.
So, what's the point of this entry? I spent a couple weeks basically bedridden, and was still sick for half of Friday, even. I am alive again today. I haven't had energy like this in... forever, if ever. When have I ever had energy to clean?
And no, I didn't get better on my own. I'm taking a zillion algae pills, and I have to do this weird energy exercise every morning. It's like magic. Naturopathic medicine is so mysterious and amazing. I cannot tell you why it works, and sometimes I have to remind the scientific part of my brain not to think that it's nonsense. Everyone... even if you have a great life and great health, I bet it could be improved with good naturopathic medicine.
