Day 14 - Favorite male character
This one was actually a bit hard. There's a lot of male characters I used to like, and some I still do, but I have hard time listing them as one of my favorite male characters. I think my standards have gotten higher or stricter in a sense because I really couldn't come up with too many (of course it's a list! I can't pick just one for anything!). John Crichton
It took me a while to fully appreciate John; while I've loved Farscape for a long time, he wasn't always a character I focused on a lot. However now I find him fascinating, unique, and brilliant. He goes on a complicated journey over the course of the series, and I often find new things to appreciate and understand about his character. (vid) (vid)
Gaius Baltar
As it turns out there are a lot of good male characters on BSG. The one character I keep coming back to however is Baltar. He is so intriguing, not quite villian, definitely not a hero, but someone you usually can't help but empathize with and understand. I think he's my second favorite character from BSG, and I don't know what that says about me. (vid) (vid)
