Weigh-in 4 of 12

Alright, weigh-in results for the week: loss of 1.5 pounds!  Total since the beginning = a 3.3% body weight loss.

Not too shabby if I do say so myself.  There are those who are doing better (Shout out to my fellow LJ-er who will remain nameless unless he chooses to reveal himself who lost 5 lbs this week!  You = Rock Star!) and many who are sporting great percentages, but I can only focus on myself and my long term game. I am satisfied so far with how I am going about it.  I am slowly changing my habits - making small changes that will result in long term results.  I am not doing fads, starving myself, or going to be hungry (except for those nights when I am hungry because I have made bad choices for the day - but then again that hunger is all in my headl).  So yay for another week of loss!

One things I had happen this week that was weird was one night I went to make a sandwich.  My friend casually said that I had already said that I didn't need any more food for the night.  He was right.  I did say that.  I didn't need it, but then I didn't know what to do with myself.  It was so awkward.  Like I was in the habit of eating after whatever activity I completed, and when I didn't, I was at odds.  It reminded me of when an old manager of mine was quitting smoking.  He said the hardest part was figuring out what to so with his hands.  He would walk around just flexing and unflexing them. Strange that I would have a similar experience.  But I guess food has become a sort of addiction.
