I'm a BZZAgent ~ Burt's Bees Sensitive Skin Solution
I've been using two products from the Burt's Bees Sensitive Skin solution: the Daily moisturizer and the Facial cleaser. I had the opportunity to test these products for at least tree weeks. Here is my opinion on there new line!
1) The Facial cleaser : I wear make-up everyday and wash my face with soap only at night when I remove my make-up. I have sensitive skin because. It's normally dry and easliy becomes red if I only barely touch it. You only need a little amount to clease your face so expect a full size bottle to last more than 6 months. It is very easy to apply and does not burn if it was to get into my eyes (a real natural product!). As for my make-up, it does not remove it completly. Waterproof makeup will not fully dissolve. Also, I recommend using a toner afterwards to make sure that all makeup residue is really gone.
2) The moisturizer : although in my opinion the retail suggested price for this product is quite expensive for a small quantity, it seems to be a good product. Take note that is does not contain SPF (too bad...), so for a winter moisturizer I would say great. For summer, I would probably only use it as a night cream. The moisturiser has a pleasent smell and does not burn if it gets into my eyes. It dries up quickly and does not feel greasy at all. It's almost like wearing no moisturiser at all. I don't have flaky patches and my skin looks well moisturized. Also, because I have acne proned skin, this product will not clog my pores! Very important factor for me.
THE VERDICT: I prefer the moisturiser to the cleaser, simply because the cleanser does not remove my makeup completly. I love the fact that these products do not burn when they get into my eyes. I would buy the moisturiser and use it as a night cream if the price for 50 ml was in the $8-10 range.
