Glee 3x01: The Purple Piano Project - Squee!
OH MY GOD YOU GUYS, GLEE!!! HOW AWESOME WAS THAT?!
[SPOILERS FOR THE EPISODE IN THE CUT BELOW]
A few of my favorite things from the episode, off of the top of my head:
1. Kurt and Blaine. (of course!) Seriously, how amazing and adorable and lovely are they together? And the teasing each other, oh my god. MY HEART.
2. Hummelberry. I love the way their friendship has grown, and it seems to have only grown even greater over the summer. The scene with the two of them in the car, just awwww. <333
3.The music. I really, really enjoyed the music this episode. A lot of it had a more "old school" sort of feel (in that sort of classy-jazzy-etc-style way), and while I love some of their covers of recent music, these were all so much fun and had me watching them all dance around with a huge grin on my face. Plus, I've kind of become obsessed in the past day or two with the Anything Goes/Anything You Can Do mash-up they did in this ep, and I've been singing it around the house. Lindsay Pearce (the girl who sang that mash-up) has some pipes!
I'll post a more comprehensive post later with thoughts on both Glee & Castle probably, maybe a few other shows if I have enough thoughts about them to actually post about, but for now I just had to get out my giddiness. What was your opinion on tonight's episode?
