She was lost for years, stuck in limbo. Not knowing anything, not daring to dream of finally discovering the truth.
She drove herself half-mad trying to find the one detail, the one overlooked mistake that could crack open the case. She pulled herself out just in time to save herself from being completely enveloped by it.
After that, not much changed. Her life was repetitive and weary, and she was still outwardly cynical.
Until one day, a man walked in with a smirk and a book to write.
She wouldn’t know it then, but at that moment, she was found.
