Lay Your Heavy Burdens Down, Down

Every time I listen to "Open Wounds" by Skillet, I feel all semi-depressed afterward. Probably why I haven't listened to it in approximately four months. But the vocals and instruments are brilliant, as well as the emotion the entire band put into the piece. The stories behind it and the aching lyrics will never cease to get to me, though.

Would you believe my spiritual gifts are mercy and teaching, hm? ^.^

Anyway. Just making this post to update you chicas on my mother. Today she told me everything got a shade darker AGAIN. Her friend, a former nurse who also is legally blind, told her it has to get worse and worse before it will get better. So eventually everything has to be dark in her eyes before the doctors can do the surgery to give her new lenses for her eyes. New lenses! That sounds scary to me. :/ I know, I had a freaky eye surgery too, but I was too little to remember it! I just have the blue scar in my eye to remind me, and it's an awesome conversation piece, lol... "Oh yeah, well, I have a blue dot in mah eye! Wanna seeeee?" And anyway. This is my MOM. Which makes it different. She's the one that taught me to draw back when she was sighted enough!! Blaaaah, madre, I don't waaaant you to loose more vision. :'(

And school is seriously stressing me. I feel like I am going to be the worst teacher ever right at the moment. I'm gonna go off to be all emo and stuff now... Or maybe I'll just draw... Jordan (female) gave me some nifty drawing e-books... Only drawing books have never helped me, but I'll try these, definitely.

I must learn to give all my worries to God... His yoke is easy and his burden is light. I like light. :)
