Here on Gossip Girl, losing your virginity is a classy affair. Emphasis on the word affair, since it sometimes involves cheating, and almost always involves an immediate sense of regret (unless of course you seal the deal on an air mattress in your Dad's art gallery, in which case it is just plain cheesey.) An even better choice of location may be a bar stool or the back seat of a limo, and if you don't have a best friend's boyfriend (or recent ex-girlfriend) to sleep with, just go sleep with your step-brother instead.
