4x12 | Eleanor calls Blair immature when she schemes to get a position to become a powerful woman.
4x18 | Blair calls Chuck immature when he schemes against Dan and gets her a position to make her feel like she's become a powerful woman -- all so she'll get back together with him.
This parallel is all
felicityking; she spotted it and asked me to make it. And while I was making it, it reminded me of this quote from a recent interview with Joshua Safran: "I say [the problems are] like markers, sort of, about how independently they are growing at different rates and in different ways. [...] I don't see them as roadblocks, I just see them in the grand scheme of things as, 'I'm going to run ten steps ahead' and, 'Now I'm coming to catch up', 'Now I'm going to have to go to the left a little bit'. 'I'll try to follow you'. That kind of stuff."
It also reminded me of the creepy Blair = Chuck's mother stuff from last season, sigh.
