Okay, I now got soup for about a week. I think. Anyway that was the point of making soup tonight and with 4 litres I would say I succeded. ;D
Mmm, tasty potato-leek soup with a little garlich and bacon, too.
For some reason unfathomable to me, I've wanted this since dinner thursday, but had to wait until I could go shopping today; most stories was closed yesterday 'cause of our national day, and the one I found that wasn't closed didn't have any potatoes...
So ended up starting way later than planned and thus also ended up eating a late supper. Never mind; I've heard it's good to have a good appetite when eating. ;)
Of course I managed to cut myself in the thumb while cutting potatoes, but luckily it didn't bled much. But I learned that cleaning leekes with a cut in your thumb is a bad idea. Ouch. Things like that can make me a temporary lefthanded. ;P
Think I ended up using about 2½ hours on preperation from starting to clean the potatoes til I declared the soup was ready to eat.
On the other project that I've been talking about(yup, that little school thing that has occupied my mind for quite some time) I've finally done with the actual writing. Yes, I will need to look it over tomorrow and look for corrections needed to be made, but no more writing.
Still need some more literature, since I'm about 200-240 pages short for my literature list. But I will look at that tomorrow after I've gone voting.
Oh yes, I haven't mentioned that before, I think. We have a dobble vote tomorrow; one for changing our constitution and getting complete gender equality in the royal house(right now male children are first to the throne, unless are there no males in the direct line).
The other is elections for our representative in the European Parlament. I honestly haven't looked very closely at the candidates. Mostly because I've been so focused on my exam project, so I think I might go with the same as my mom. They are usually levelheaded and reasonable, but yes, it's bad form not to take a proper look at the candidates.
So, I think I'll just relax the rest of the evening(okay, night) and then go to bed before two... ;)
