Nationally, it looks like the Democrats will gain control of the House, while Republicans will keep the Senate by a narrow margin. In Connecticut, Lieberman appears to have the victory, as does the Governator in California. As for the ballot proposals, all of the same sex marriage bans are projected to pass (unfortunately).
As for Michigan, it seems as if the voters want our economy to keep loosing jobs, as both Granholm (D-governor) and Stabenow (D-Senate) are projected to win. The affirmative action proposal is expected to pass though, so that is one good thing.
To quote
the Princess: Detroit News calling election for Granholm (ugh...kiss your jobs goodbye, Michigan...hope you're happy) and Stabenow is back (are Michigan voters totally insane? No, seriously. Two thirds of you think that MI is headed in the wrong direction, yet, somehow, its not any of these clowns fault), ... According to demographics, Catholic went overwhelmingly for Granholm, by almost 10%. The Archdiocese of Detroit should be ashamed.
More comprehensive update tomorrow, when the final results are in.
