I shocked a nurse
So this morning, after having a small fever scare last night, I woke up feeling worse than shit on a stick, so I decided to drag my ass to the nursing station this afternoon to see what is wrong with me after a month of being sick.
I have pneumonia. Go figure. I had a chest x-ray and all that jazz. The nurse looked at my tonsils and was appauled. She asked how I could still breathe. I told her I've been wondering that a lot lately. I do love shocking the hell out of people who look in my mouth.
I am now on a course of antibiotics, and I'm going to bed. Perhaps tomorrow I'll be able to eat something more than applesauce. I'm also thinking, perhaps I should have gone into the nursing station sooner.
