Merlin re-living those snippets of past lives while under the influence of Nimueh's poison was vividly drawn and quite fascinating. Each vignette painted intriguing pictures of different men though they were the same men over and over again. Merlin being the only one who remembers, the one always waiting, is certainly a lonely lot in life. I really like how his way of speaking with Gaius changed dramatically when he awoke. He's really no longer the young country bumpkin from Ealdor any longer and it shows. I wonder if Arthur will notice.
