OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!! Seriously, how awesome is this! *squeaks incoherently*

How do I love this? Let me count the ways! You've done amazing work and I'm absolutely in love with this story!! The other lives that Merlin and Arthur lived, trying to complete their destiny, and finally succeeding!

I adore how you tugged at the strings of the first series, portraying it with a much more mature and aware Merlin and Arthur to deal with everyhing (with some exceptions -- Arthur is a prat, after all). Uther's death at the hands of Tristan!wraith was very well done, and reminds me of just how Uther survived that encounter in canon just by the skin of his teeth ( ... )

Wow! Thank you very much!

This was born of a bunny that would not let me go. When I read The Sorceror and the King, there's a scene where Arther and Merlin find a gravestone and realize that they've been living over and over again... and it pretty much leaves it at that. My brain wondered just what they're pre-canon lives were like and the bunny ran away with me from there.

For me, Morgana was such a great character in S1 and early S2. Loosing her to the smirk of doom was so sad :( Giving her a better end was very satisfying!

Killing Uther was something I waffled over for a while, but in the end 800 year old Merlin just wouldn't have let Uther get his hands on Excalibur. And really, nothing says love like giving the most legendary sword of all time as a present!

I'm so glad you enjoyed this. It gives me immense pleasure to hear that you enjoyed the things I changed as much as I do. :D

Uther being killed by the wraith has sped up Arthur's rule but I have to love how he stepped up and tried to protect his son and how Arthur stepped up to kill the wraith. Uther went out as a hero and Arthur has come in as a new, brave ruler. Uther really loved Arthur and Arthur's memories of his father being a father touched my heart. He's got Merlin at his back now, but Uther will always be a part of him. Uther's hope that he will be a more just and kind king will surely be met by Arthur with Merlin at his side.
