It's late....
Ok, It is almost 1am on Thursday morning and Greg just got done putting laundry in the washer!!! There is something wrong with that. Usually, I am in bed sleeping soundly by now, but tonight that ain't happnin'. I just found out tonight that I am going to be driving to Dallas tomorrow and vend for a Youth Specialties event there on Friday night. I was originally going with the other guy that I work with, but there were a lot of logistics that just didn't make sense. So, this is going to be my 1st vending gig that I am doing all by myself...that's pretty exciting! So I guess if you are the praying kind, please pray for safe travel, a good turn out, and for God to give me patience this weekend!
Anyhoo...Can I just say God is AWESOME. The past couple of days I have been really diving into the Bible and really trying to dwell on everything that I read. Well, God has truly moved and changed my life in just the past couple of days. He has just been opening His arms more and more each day to me. In the past, I have read the Bible and I never really took the time to comprehend what I was reading, but now a friend of mine gave me this walk through the Bible series that he did at his church and it is really opening my eyes to a lot of what God has to show me. But God has really shown me the man He wants me to be. Every morning I wake up I just say a quick prayer before I leave for work or as I am driving and I just say "God I give this day to you, so use me as you will." This week has been incredible. Not only with work, but with my friendships, and just my overall attitude towards everything. So I thank God for all of the blessings that He has poured out on my life and I am looking forward to everything He has for me in the future!
Now I guess I will talk about politics! I do have to say that I am VERY optimistic about Pres. Bush getting a 2nd term come Nov 2. Cheney pretty much rocked John "pretty boy" Edwards last night in their debate. Bush, was a little off on his 1st debate, but I am really looking forward to Friday's debate. I watched CSPAN the other night and they were showing the last debate with Bush and Al Gore. It was a town hall style debate, like what is going to be on Friday. Bush had his A game on that debate. I think he will bring that to the table again on Friday because he can really relate to people on a personal level....In my opinion. I am very excited about election night because Redeem The Vote is throwing an election night party here in Nashville. So, that should be pretty fun. I don't know really how many people read this things, but during the week, if you are around the computer between 3-6 eastern time...you should listen to Sean Hannity either on his website (www.hannity.com) or find an affiliate that carries him. He is awesome. He is also on the Fox News Channel at 9pm eastern time. I highly recommend you check him out!
Ok well that was my free advertisement for the night. Wow, I have wrote a lot. But I guess it is time to go put my clothes in the dryer. So I am ending this thing now.
