I just have to say, Heroes is SUCH a bitchin' series. The Bennets rock so hardcore. Even Mr. Muggles is awesome! And HIRO!!! (HAPPY GRIN) He's just so wonderful! So much love! I can honestly say there isn't a single character I've seen so far who hasn't pleased me immensely. I'm really liking West, though I know some think he's creepy. I look forward to seeing more of him in the future. And where is Sylar??? We damn well better find out soon!!!
And then there is "Chuck", the new NBC series that plays just before Heroes. Hey, it has Adam Baldwin alla Jayne Cobb (Firefly) as Major John Casey! Gotta love 'im. The series is funny as hell, and I adore something that makes me laugh while giving me plenty of action and plot. Chuck is really adorable. I'm looking forward to see how the series progresses.
In other news, Patrick Stewart alla Jean-Luc Picard (Star Trek: TNG) will be staring along with David Tennant alla the Tenth Doctor (Doctor Who) in the play Hamlet next year. He has also displayed a strong interest in being in Doctor Who!!! XD He's actually disappointed he's never had a role in the series! (SPAZZ!!!) Come on people, how can it NOT happen now!? Who in their right mind would turn down THAT MAN for something like that!? CERTAINLY NOT ME!!! Sure, the series next year will be on hold until Hamlet is over, but by 2009 they will have PLENTY of time to think of something!
Monday is not my one and only TV day, and I hope to keep it that way. I haven't enjoyed watching a series in real time since Stargate SG-1... I miss that series... I'd count Doctor Who, but I saw that a little before it every came on TV...
Only a few more months until new Doctor Who and new Torchwood. With the way time has been flying lately, next year doesn't seem that far away.
As of last Saturday, One Piece finally aired on Cartoon Network with the new dub from Funimation. It is freaking AWESOME! I couldn't ask for better, considering the travesty is was. Sorry to all those who actually LIKED the original dub, but I love characters who don't have bazaar, out of character, often achingly annoying and embarrassing to voices.
And dammit, I forgot about Avatar! Two episodes missed! Then again, I'll caught a few episodes from season one and two in the first place... So I'll deal. I'll have to YouTube it sometime. I know a bunch of people in Fairfax watch it. Wish I could join them...
