I really liked the theme of contradiction in this story - and a cute pairing to boot! ;)

eeeeee Showboat!! when she came on I was all "wtf, *another* hot girl pilot?? -- I already can't keep them straight [har har]" -- well clearly the point is for ALL of them to frak Starbuck!

what I love the most is the particular flavor of angst where they have such different interpretations of the experience -- where they're sort of missing each other, each using the other for what they need. the evocation of life (for a woman) on Pegasus is killer. and Starbuck! yeah, it's so her, using sex to pause the "video loop in her mind." I love the theme of contradiction, too -- nice symmetry.
