thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback! I'm trying to play around with a world where Laura has a very hard time getting close to people, and think through what would break those walls down and what would send them back up. even canonically, even if you set aside the sex, Laura and Tory have such a complicated and fraught relationship. I'm glad the ending worked -- there were a lot of things I wanted Laura to explain, but I ended up just cutting them all out because she couldn't actually say them in words.

models 9-12 are unquestionably different from the others, and until TPTB explain that further there's plenty of room to speculate! I never get tired of fanwaking cylon consciousness, even if I always get jossed. it's not that I think Tory doesn't want love, though, at least not because she's a cylon (though the four certainly seem less *obsessed* with it) -- I think she just knows better than to expect it.

and I'm glad I pulled off the desk!sex. yay! I've been having a lot more trouble finding my way into the hot of frakking rather than being frakked, plus I was short on patience by that point, so I'm happy to hear it had the desired effect nonetheless. I guess you can't go wrong with fisting Laura on her desk!
