(no subject)
Today was a good day, in a sort of little nothing terms. I finished Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman, and I'm extremely happy I read it. I loved his humor throughout the entire thing, even when he was mocking what I, myself, love. And, that's hard to do.
I also saw Pirates 3 at work, and I took my mom with me. Which, if you know me and the relationship, or lack thereof, with my mom, is a bit unexpected, but I'm glad I took her. She had a good time, and I guess that was my main goal, to make her happy for once. Because, if nothing else I do in this world can make her happy, it's no surprise that the one thing would be to take her to an advance screening of a movie. Sometimes, you can never win.
The only downside of today is knowing that tomorrow is to follow. And, after tomorrow is the day after tomorrow. And, that marks the beginning of the weekend. And the weekend marks lots of hours at work. Lots of time threading film, worrying about scratching film, shoveling popcorn, cleaning popcorn, and all around good for nothings.
I'm tired. And, thus ending this seemingly pointless update.
