stoked.
so this weekend, was so much fun. Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. skated in that Hurley contest, got 3rd in the contest and 2nd in the best trick. skated probably the best ive ever done in a contest i was stoked i skated so consistent landing everything. Howard is doing a article about it so should be some photos in Resolve. I was little bummed out cause many people came to me and said i deserved 2nd in the contest but oh well i was stoked that i even made it to the finals. i could of won 250, rather than 100. Best trick was sick, im stoked. Came close to winning another 100 too with that but won some goods. In the end i came home with a backpack, a pair of jeans, 6 shirts, two hats, a bracelet, 100 bucks in cash, new friends, and lots of compliments. people are so nice and rad down there. The contest was way positive too, everyone was stoked on everyone. everyone was skating sick. I gave most of the prizes away to jason, howard, and matt, cause i dont use most of it. But im keeping the hundred bucks and the jeans. Cant go wrong with a pair of jeans. I got abundance of clothing this past week so im stoked.. got some sick WRV stripped t's. i feel like i am spoiled girl and who has to decide what to wear. usually im like fuck it and put on a shirt. I got a cure shirt coming in the mail too. Overall the contest was amazing. Overall skating in my life is amazing. getting more boards this week too. i am so lucky to have what ive been given lately.. packages, money, clothes, and everythign else. This weekend im going to NYC to skate with the 5boro guys. hopefully i can skate good and get that opportunity to ride for them. id be psyched. Remember to not to take anything for granted, im so appreciative of all the things ive been given. i love life.
