Every day is a winding road.....
Every time I try to pick up the pieces of myself, something happens to bring me back down....but today isn't one of those days, except for one minor incident.
Ever since the break-up with Josh at the beginning of June, it's been one helluva roller coaster. Normally, I'd be fine on a roller coaster, but this one called LIFE really sucks sometimes! :-\ Today, I was at the park and this guy walks by me totally checking me out! He was really cute, so I went and sat at the nearest bench. He came over and was remarking at how cute Sparky was, and we started talking. We talked for a good twenty minutes before he finally asked if I had eaten yet. I said no and he asked if I wanted to go get something. We went to my car and he was like "Is it ok if we drive separate?" and I was fine with that, because I had to take the dog home anyway. He followed me to my house and then he decided maybe we should ride together. Fine. We went to Applebee's and we were having a good time, and his ex-boyfriend was there and was all "This is my man, don't make me kick your ass, bitch" in my face....then he slapped me! So Anthony tells him to get away from us and we get our check and leave. On the way back to my house he explains how his ex was in rehab for a while and is still a bit possessive of him, even though he thought he had made it clear that they were over. We made plans to hang out again this weekend and hopefully something can come out of this, even if it's just a new friend. I could do without being slapped in public though...I'm still feeling it.
OH WELL....guess I'll have to get off of here, I'm feeling a little tired right now. Have a good night :-)
